Twenty-eight amazing beads, the fruits of decades of collecting, are linked together lovingly with multiple silver and antique brass caps and rings to form this serenade of bead exultation. Made by lampwork artisans or traded and kept for years, each bead has a story and a history, and some have a tale of travel across continents. If you like, I will include a description of the beads and their provenances for you as a PDF when you purchase.
This is a large-bead piece, with some substance and amazing strength and drape. I've added an option to make this into 2 smaller necklaces (by adding kyanite or antique Czech glass) that would be fabulously wearable (and shareable.) This is an heirloom piece that will add to the stories you tell about the amazing history of beads, their makers and wearers.
As shown, ~40" - 102 cm. 2 strands could be up to 26" each. With clasps if requested.
