A lovely object built with care of ancient and vintage and artisan beads for your spiritual work. Malas are traditional touchstones to count, remember and contemplate, and are present in every tradition. They are physical reminders of the mind's journey.
This mala's focal, the touchstone endpiece, is an amazing clay bead in the style of ancient beads: soothing and tactile, warming to the touch. Above it sits a pair of vertebra-shaped disc beads by the inimitable Foxpaws. A hollow flameworked bead in swirling sunset hues rides between with a Keith O'Connor disc . An absolutely glowing ancient carnelian faceted bead, wise and weathered supports a faceted recycled glass bead in an octagon shape with a clay disc and a flameworked iridescent black spiky disc lead to the handle of small ancient and natural stone beads.
This piece, like all my one of a kind hand malas, is built with the strongest materials and construction available. It is meant for long years of carrying and gentle handling. If it breaks, just send it to me and I'll restring it for you.
